Scope and controller
NewsCrestle was founded on 18 July 2026 as a TJVerse Group platform. Jerry Vasoya is the owner and publisher. The editorial operation is based in Surat, Gujarat, India, and serves readers internationally through language-specific editions.
This policy applies to NewsCrestle websites, accounts, comments, newsletters, contact forms, consent controls, and related services under our control. Third-party destinations have their own policies. The publisher acts as the controller for personal data it decides to collect and use.
Information we collect
We collect information a person provides directly, including account name, email address, password hash, preferred language, comments, contact messages, newsletter requests, moderation reports, and profile choices. We do not need or request payment-card details for ordinary reading.
Technical records may include request time, visited route, approximate network information, device or browser characteristics, referral information, security events, and pseudonymized identifiers. Essential cookies maintain sessions, security, language, and consent state. Optional analytics or advertising storage should remain inactive until allowed where consent is required.
Why information is used
Information is used to deliver requested pages, operate accounts, verify email addresses, remember language and consent choices, moderate discussion, answer messages, send subscribed newsletters, prevent abuse, diagnose errors, secure the service, keep legal records, and measure performance where permitted.
We do not sell a database of reader identities. If advertising or analytics vendors process data, their role, consent requirements, contracts, and retention must be reviewed before activation. Contextual advertising can be used without constructing a detailed behavioral profile.
Legal bases and fairness
Depending on location and activity, processing may rely on consent, performance of a requested service, legitimate interests in security and publication operations, or compliance with law. Legitimate interests are balanced against reader rights, and consent can be withdrawn without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Children should not create accounts or submit personal data when local law requires parental permission. If the team learns that data was collected from a child without appropriate authorization, it will investigate and delete or restrict that data as required.
Retention and security
Retention depends on purpose. Account data remains while an account is active and for a reasonable closure period; support and moderation records are retained long enough to resolve disputes and prevent repeated abuse; security logs are rotated; subscription records are retained until unsubscribe plus a suppression record where necessary.
NewsCrestle uses access controls, password hashing, validation, rate limits, backups, and software updates. No internet service can promise absolute security. A material incident will be investigated, contained, documented, and communicated when law requires notice.
Your privacy rights
Depending on local law, a person may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, or withdrawal of consent. A request may require reasonable identity verification. Some records may be retained when necessary for security, legal claims, tax, suppression, or freedom-of-expression obligations.
Requests should be answered within the period required by applicable law. If a request is denied or limited, the response should explain why and identify available complaint or appeal options.
International transfers and third parties
Readers and providers may be located in different countries. Where personal data crosses borders, NewsCrestle should use a recognized transfer mechanism and assess provider safeguards. Links, embedded market widgets, social sign-in, and external media may contact third parties; readers should review the relevant provider's terms.
Contact, complaints, and updates
Questions may be sent through the contact page. Editorial tips use tips@newscrestle.com, corrections use corrections@newscrestle.com, privacy and deletion requests use privacy@newscrestle.com, and copyright notices use legal@newscrestle.com. Messages should include enough detail for the team to identify the page, account, or material concerned.
A policy is useful only when readers can test it against observable conduct. NewsCrestle therefore displays authorship, publication and update dates, stable URLs, correction channels, translation notices, and source links where appropriate. Material changes to this document are dated, and earlier commitments continue to govern activity that occurred while they were in force.
